In the UK, IHS targets investments in the development of moderate-income housing in London, the South East, and other growth markets in the UK.  We believe that the dramatic imbalance between the supply of residential homes in certain target markets and the demand from moderate income home purchasers creates opportunities for knowledgeable and innovative developers and investors. 

We offer equity investment through Joint Venture partnerships with Housing Associations, developers, home builders, and financial services institutions for the medium-term, to create the capacity to deliver additional housing and shared risk.  Several of the ways that we do this include:

• Co-investment with local developers and property owners to acquire land for development and build new housing targeting moderate income households
• Build portfolios of institutional grade residential property by entering into joint ventures with project developers and through open market acquisitions
