Ronan King, Chairman, Amethyst Investments

Ronan King is an IHS board member.  He established and managed a two-partner accountancy practice from 1984 until 1987, when he merged with Simpson Xavier, a young expanding firm with 35 staff members.  In 1990, he established the firm's management consultancy practice which he led for ten years until 1999, when he assumed responsibility for human and technology resources.  Mr. King’s experience is wide-ranging, having specialized for many years in advising on financial, strategic and marketing matters to operators, investors and public agencies involved in many sectors of Irish business.
